As an educator and a sports enthusiast, I can attest to the benefit of sports as a tool for teaching resiliency, grit and discipline. Sports are like some form of catharsis (the cleansing of our emotions)! Throughout my life, I have benefited from sports by keeping myself healthy and even in difficult times – I have also relied on sports to find happiness and emotional balance. With the world grappling with heath issues, sporting has become all more important.
